Easy Mushroom Gravy Recipe

Hello, friends!

You are all in for a treat today!
I am sharing my mushroom gravy recipe that is perfect with almost everything... chicken, pork chops, steak, or even veggies. Best of all is how easy it is to make.

This is a such a simple delicious addition to your meal.
First, you need fresh mushrooms, olive oil, and 1 package of McCormick's Mushroom Gravy Mix.
Above is the packet you will be looking for to make this sauce.

You will want to saute the mushrooms in the pan with one tablespoon of olive oil. You will want to cook the mushrooms until they are tender.

The gravy is simple to make. You will follow the instructions on the package.

Once completed, you will add the mushroom gravy sauce to the mushrooms.

Once added together, you will have a delicious mushroom gravy sauce to make any dinner special.

What is your favorite type of sauce with your dinner?

Day One of Our Atlanta Trip for This Month

Hello Friends!

We just returned from an amazing trip to Atlanta and I thought it would be fun to share some of the photos with you! At the end of this post, you will also find the video link where you can see all the fun for yourself and feel like you are coming on the journey with us!

The minute we walked in the door I had to grab a photo of these two. Its fun to see how tall Trey is getting but to really get an idea just know that Dallas is in her tall wedges! I love how cute it is when they stand together.

Would you look at how amazing the view is while we were driving to dinner? Just amazing!

We went to Bartaco for dinner at a new location and once again I loved it! My goal is to try a new restaurant each time we go but since we do not have a Bartaco at home I always want to go straight there because I love it so much!

I am sure you are wondering what on earth this is in the photo above and I have to admit that when it came to our table I thought the same thing. Dallas wanted us to try the plantains and all I can say is they are amazing! I can't wait to order them again.

Of course, we had to order the guacamole and they serve it with their homemade chips.

I love how anytime you need something you put your dragon fly card up and they come right to you!

We had Mexican Coke which was my first time to hear about. Its Coke with real sugar in it and it was very good.

Your plates are little silver trays with parchment paper which I thought was such a cute idea.

All of the tacos come out at once platted together and I know it looks like a lot but its really only about 3 bites per taco. I love this idea because it gives you a chance to try several.

What do you do after Taco Night? Ice Cream of course!

Again this is another place I love to go instead of trying new places. I love the look, the ice cream, and simply everything about it!

Take a look at the video below and feel like you are on the adventure with us!

Bathroom Cabinet Makeover With Storage Ideas

Hello, friends!

How many of you have a smaller half bathroom?

Well, I have one that we consistently have guests coming in and out!
I wanted to go ahead and tackle this project. It deserved an upgrade. My biggest fear was someone would need tissue paper and would open it to see what you see below.

Here is the before. As you can see, it needed to be upgraded. The space needed organization. It wasn't messy but it needed some help.

I found the amazing baskets for storage at Michaels and the Target Dollar Spot!

Here is the after! As you can see, it is much more organized. You can see where everything is and if we are running low in certain areas. Helps me know when to add items to the grocery list.

Don't you just love candles? Dallas actually told me that most of the Bath and Body Works Candles have a version at Walmart! I will be checking that out when I start to run low!

I like to keep my additional items for the bathroom in here such as shampoo, conditioner, and anything that might be needed in either my bathroom or the upstairs bathroom.

I absolutely love my cleaning caddy! Helps me keep cleaning supplies on hand and easily accessible.

These baskets, also, make this bathroom safer with the storage for the light bulbs. I dont have to worry about the little ones going in this cabinet and anything rolling out and breaking on the floor. I keep this basket up high.

Now, if a guest needs to grab tissue paper, I don't feel embarrassed with them looking in this cabinet.

I hope you all enjoyed this post! You can watch the video on Mrs. Erica's Youtube below!

How do you like to organize your bathroom cabinets?

See you in the next post!

Farmhouse Bathroom Makeover Before and After

Hello Friends!

Let's start this off with a look at the before pictures. I am so excited that my daughter asked me to help her decorate her new apartment in Atlanta. She recently graduated and Atlanta is her new home. It has quickly turned into my second home because I love everything about it.

The apartment is new and the bathroom has a lot of potential with all the space. I love the modern feel and it's very large. It's perfect for all the decorating ideas we have.

The counter top is very spacious and the white stone is going to go perfectly with our Farmhouse decor.

As you can see there is a lot of wall space to put to good use.

The only item that Dallas has in place now is her college shower curtain. This shower curtain is in great condition but doesn't fit our theme so we will be passing it along to someone that can use. You will be amazed at how different this space looks with the new white ruffle shower curtain.

Are you ready for a look at the new space?

Now let me walk you through each part of the makeover.  Below you will see the countertop. I love the plants that are from Commercial Silk and you can find their link here. You can also follow them on their Facebook page- Here

They are perfect with their little tin buckets and I love the pop of green. They came package together and very secure in their box.

I picked up the buckets from Michaels and was so happy to find them in the clearance section.

We are using the buckets for decoration but they have a practical purpose with holding bath clothes and hand towels. We have started out with a few new white sets and each week she will add to her collection and replace her old sets.

This has to be one of my favorite items that again works great as decor but is being used for storage. It holds cotton balls and Q-tips. Would you believe I found this at Michaels for $3.00 on clearance?

Always think out of the box and shop other departments. I found this awesome wooden battery operated candle from Target in the patio section marked down to $7.00 with their Summer items.

I found the mirror at Michaels on sale for $21.00 from $79.99.

The little shelf is from Hobby Lobby along with all of the accessories.

Come take a look at the final room in the video I put together below!
