A Look Into Day Two on the Carnival Dream Ship

Hello Friends.....

Above is Chris our cruise director and he did such a great job! This picture is from when I met him as he passed by when Eddie and I were eating at the Sushi restaurant. He saw my camera and shared with us that he is a vlogger on Youtube and of course I quickly shared that I am also!

It was fun to have that connection. Every time Eddie and I saw Chris around the ship he would always say, "Hello Mrs. Erica" which as you know is my Youtube name.

During lunch, Eddie and I ordered Ship for Two which actually come out on a ship and was so much fun to share. Can you believe what a cute idea this is!

I put my chopstick skills to work and I have to say I did pretty good but only because Eddie is such a great teacher.

The ordering process was a lot of fun because you take the menu and check off what you would like to order. I love when things are interactive and allow you to be part of the process.

The chef sent over a little appetizer to eat while they prepared our lunch. I always think that's such a great feature.

Later that night we went to dinner at the Steak House and it was such a fun treat. I wore one of my favorite dresses and we had such a great time.

This is a special treat from the chef and it's a Lobster BLT. This had to be one of the best BLT sandwiches Eddie, and I have ever had. We both agreed that we would have ordered this on its own if it would have been offered on the menu. It was amazing!

I had to share this picture even though the color is off from the dark restaurant but I am 100% there with having to keep a pair of reading glasses for me to see the menu. I think it is so cute because if I forget my pair or if Eddie forgets his we are always borrowing each other's glasses. I love how cute and romantic that is!

Eddie and I both enjoyed the Lobster Bisque as a starter. It was very creamy and one of my favorite items to get whenever we visit the steak restaurants on any cruise.

The Ceasar salad was very good and you could tell the dressing was made fresh.

We both had the Surf and Turf with Lobster and Filet. It was simply amazing.

Dessert was really a special treat as we both picked out the Chocolate Sample Platter.

The night ended with the perfect sunset. This is one reason I love to have a balcony room is to be able to sit out and enjoy the view! You  have a chance to be away from the business of life and just catch your breath.

Come along now and enjoy the day with us!

Weight Watchers Healthy Snack Idea Cool Whip Ice Cream Sandwich Replacement

Hello Friends!

I am so excited to share with you one of my new favorite snacks that I have during the week for my after dinner treat. This great snack only has 2 Weight Watchers points and I love it. I also love how easy it is to put together!

All that you need is Cool Whip and Graham Crackers. This is a great replacement to Ice Cream Sandwiches which can have up to seven points each. This helps you have a 5 point savings!

I have put together a video from my Youtube channel to help you see just how simple this is to make. Be sure to subscribe to my channel so you never miss out!

See you in the next post!

Day One on Our Recent Carnival Cruise

Hello Friends.....

We had an amazing time on our 7-day cruise with Carnival on the Dream Ship. This was a cruise that my company put together with about 45 couples, and we had a blast. I thought I would share a few days of our photos and of course, at the end of each post, I will have an awesome video for you to have the chance to come along with us for fun!

The picture above is the very first picture I took as Eddie and I had just loaded the bus and we started on our journey!

I must admit that I have had so much fun reading all of your comments as you have followed along with the daily videos I put together. Your words are just so kind!

I knew I wanted to come back and share lots of video and pictures with you for the blog but I am one that sometimes forgets to snap the picture while I am filming so be sure to check out the video for lots more!

Here is a look at the downtown New Orleans area that we could see from the front of the ship.

We saw a great view of the bridge in New Orleans as the ship makes a complete turn and takes us out of the port to start our cruise.

One of my favorite videos that I had the chance to put together was my nightly outfits. This was so much fun to share so be sure to check it out!

Now let's talk about the food!

At dinner, Eddie ordered the most amazing Smoked Gouda Quesadilla that was very good and below you can see I had the shrimp cocktail.

The beef was wonderful and so tender with an amazing gravy. This was the perfect way to start the first night of the cruise!

Eddie had a baked chicken with vegetables that was also good.

For dessert, Eddie enjoyed a cheese tray and I had a great chocolate plate of yumminess!

I was so proud of us for staying up for the comedy show and we did not go to bed until after midnight. That was after getting up at 5:00 am and losing an hour because of the time change. We were one tired couple!

The room with the comedy show had a Mardi Gras them with the most beautiful mask that went around the entire room. I loved every single one of them.

This one had to be my favorite, and I loved the size and how he had such a presence on the wall. At night the backlight would shine through them which made them even prettier.

They even add the extra touch of having the roof painted with several masks which were just stunning. There were several different paintings and you would find a seat and just admire how beautiful they were.

Now come along for the journey of day one with us and have a blast for the week! I am really proud of how my work turned out from each one of our days on this cruise. I know you will love how you feel like you are right there with us on this vacation.

March Felicity Jane Unboxing and Review

Hello Friends.....

It's that time when the Felicity Jane monthly subscription has come in the mail. I am so excited to open it with you and would you believe I didn't even look inside the box yet. So let's jump into this months subscription together.

The presentation on each one of her boxes is just amazing. I love the black and white striped box with the black and white polka dot paper. The black bow ties it together.

Everything about this box screams Spring and Summer. I plan to sit down and use each one of these to put our recent cruise pictures together. Everything is just so pretty.

Above in the top three photos, you can see all of the paper that comes in this month's kit. There are three solid colored sheets and each side has a lighter color and then a darker color. The set is just amazing and I walk you through each piece in the video which you can see at the bottom of this post.

The kit also has several accessories that come in the kit and I can not wait to come up with something fun with these. She has a black style and a wood style.

The gold foiled letters are very pretty and I know these will be used for the photos I take during our cruise! I am already spelling out many sweet titles.

Come along now and you can see each piece of this kit. I love the idea of receiving this each month and I just can not wait to put something new together!
Enjoy the video!

See you in the next post!

Plan With Me Session With Video Included

Hello Friends......

I am having so much fun working with a planner this year. I love sitting down on Sunday evenings and planning out my week and finding ways to be as creative as possible. This really helps me stay focused during the week and accomplish all of my task and goals that I lay out for myself.

I can honestly see a huge difference between the weeks when I plan and create a list of what I need and what to accomplish and then what happens when I just go with it and I don't have a laid out plan. I am so much more productive with a laid out plain.

I have also started laying out weekly goals as you can see here on the side of my week. This week I have 5 goals that I wanted to accomplish.

1. Drink more water
2. Have quiet time for prayer time and bible study I am working on.
3. Keep up with my meal plan which has been a huge success.
4. Continue to clean my home in zones.
5. Get my steps in!

By laying them out on the side of my planner it keeps them in front of me every day. This allows me a better opportunity to accomplish them.

I have also started creating photo sheets to remember special events during the week. This has been an amazing way to unwind but also to keep my memories at my fingertips. This was my first sheet that I have created and I love the way it turned out.

I am using the paper sets from a subscription with Felicity Jane. Her papers are beautiful and very high quality. Each month I get so excited to see what she will bring out next.

My new find for the week that I have added are my templates to be able to draw items in my planner. I have all of the details about these in my video which you will see at the end of this post. They have been a lot of fun to play with

You will have to leave me a comment and let me know if you enjoy having time set aside to plan and organize your week!

I hope you enjoyed taking a look into my planning session that I had this week! Be sure to follow my blog and Youtube channel so you never miss out!
Come along now and you can see the video of my planning session! Enjoy!

See you in the next post!
