Christmas Kitchen Table Decor in Black and White Theme

Welcome to Day One of my 25 Days of Christmas Series!  I am very excited to share a look into every day up until Christmas this season! My post will be full of ideas that you can use for the holiday season.

Let's start with a tour of my kitchen table decor for this Christmas as I went with a black and white theme. I decided to go traditional with my dining room which has the holiday green and red color scheme. I used a black and white theme for the kitchen table. I love coming home each day and seeing the table all set with this fun theme.

Each year I purchase a new matching set of nutcrackers, and the tall set is a set that I picked up almost five years ago. Who knew that they would one day make this table complete.

The smaller black and white are a set I found at HomeGoods last year. I could not rush over to them quick enough.

On Day Two you will see a tutorial that I share with you on how to make the wreath accessory that you see in the center of the plate. I love the boxwood look of them. I purchased this in the Target Dollar Spot and for six yards it was only $3.00.

My plates are from the Nate Burkes line at Target, and I bought them several years ago. There are two different patterns in the set of four. I love how they are trimmed in gold which matches my white large dinner plate.

I love the way my center piece came together. It all started with the new ornament my mother gave me for hosting Thanksgiving Dinner at my home this year. I found the hook at Hobby Lobby and it looks perfect hanging from it as it sits on this gold tray from HomeGoods.

Anytime you have a large bench or chair like this one shown below its a good idea to add a pillow to soften the area. I found this pom pom black pillow at HomeGoods.

I found garland at the Dollar Tree and made these wreaths for the windows and hung them with ribbon that matches the table runner. I keep these up all year because it adds a soft touch to the corner.

I have a great video that I put together to give you more of a personal look at all of the decorations on my kitchen table. I hope you enjoy and be sure to subscribe so you dont miss any part of my 25 Days of Christmas!

See you tomorrow as I bring you Day Two!

Amazing Thanksgiving Fall Dining Room Tour

Happy Thanksgiving and welcome to my home as I share a tour of my dining room. I have it set up and ready for my family to come over and enjoy Thanksgiving lunch. As you know I love decorating for the Holidays and Thanksgiving is no exception.

Come along as I share this year's table setting with you!

I have to start out with my new addition to my collection which is this plaid tablecloth. Eddie found this just the other night at Walmart, and all of their Thanksgiving items were on clearance. I was so excited when he called me on Facetime to show me the last one hanging on the hook and I had to have it. It's the perfect addition!

I love that I have my plaid collection from Target that I picked up last year to use and serve Hot Apple Cider from. The orange plaid tray is from Target and was on clearance along with the beautiful plaid pitcher. I love the gold top on the pitcher which is that extra touch that really makes it special.

The little plaid plates are from the Bullseye Spot at Target this year. I picked up a set with the orange plaid and the white plaid.

The leave plates are from World Market but I purchased them several years ago. I have seen plates like them at HomeGoods over the past few years.

The glittered gold pumpkins are from Pier 1 during the after Thanksgiving clearance sale. I felt they were perfect for Thanksgiving.

This little table was recently my coffee station, but now that I have my new coffee station I found the perfect home for it. It's the perfect side table right from my front door. This is actually where I will have my hot apple cider to greet everyone as they come.

Would you believe that everything but the flowers is from Target? Everything is either from the Dollar Spot or the Clearance sections. I love everything about Target. You can decorate your home and stay on a budget easily.

Be sure to see the video at the end of this post because I share several other tips with you that will help you this Holiday as you decorate and prepare for your guest.

When you see items in the Dollar Spot at Target always think of a creative way you could incorporate it in your home. I have added little items all around my home for different Holidays. These little plaid plates are a great example.

The pumpkin table runner is from HomeGoods and the plaid table cloth is from Walmart. The tablecloth is actually large enough to cover the entire table put I wanted to add an additional layer by using the wood from my table.

I also used gold, silver, and white as colors for the center of my table. I love the way they each play off of each other and are very elegant. White hydrangeas are my favorite flower and fit perfectly for any time of year.

My coffee bar is set and ready to go. This will be perfect for after dinner to go along with the desserts. I have everything from different flavor coffees to hot cocoa and apple cider.

Come along and take a look at the video below to see everything for yourself! I am really happy with how everything turned out. Be sure to subscribe so you never miss out and so you can be part of all the Christmas fun that will be taking place this year!

DIY Starbucks Carmel Macchiato Recipe

I love everything about an Iced Carmel Macchiato from Starbucks expect to spend $4.50 each time I go! I have played with this recipe for a little while and I feel like I have finally perfected it! Let me share with you how to make them for yourself.

1 Cup of Milk
Handful of Ice
2 Tbs of Vanilla Syrup, I like the Starbucks brand
3 oz of strong coffee
Hershey Carmel Syrup

The first step is to place your ice in the 16 oz cup
I pour a small amount caramel syrup around the sides and let it run down the cup
Pour 1 cup of milk over ice
Brew your 3 oz of coffee and pour over milk and ice.
Add two tbs of vanilla syrup

Stir and you are ready to serve!

Be sure to see video below and follow all the steps along with me.

This is not a drink you will have everyday but it's fun to have as a special treat!

Forget about heading to Starbucks for coffee fix and make your own caramel macchiato at home! This is my version of a Starbucks remake and it not their recipe. No formal Barista here!

Organizing A Coffee Station and Ideas for Setting It Up

If you have followed my Youtube channel for any amount of time then you know I love the idea of a coffee station. My previous coffee station was small but was a great way to start out and make sure I really liked the idea of a full blown area devoted to serving my family and guest everything from coffee to hot teas.

The very minute I set up my Keurig on the original small table I was in love with the idea of an area devoted to serving coffee. Since my table was small I was very limited with what I could put. I used my station for about two years and just could not find what I was looking for as my new coffee station.

I had this beautiful cabinet in my living room and its original use is a wine cabinet. Eddie and I really do not drink enough wine or anything else for that matter to have a use for this cabinet, so it became a storage piece for holiday glasses and frustrated me because it took up space. I have a mindset that everything has a place and a use for me to keep it but I did not want to get rid of this piece.

I decided two weeks ago to just go for it and move it into my dining room and turn it into my new coffee station and WOW!! I just love everything about it. What until you see the video at the bottom of this post.

I love the small lamp I placed on the top along with a few of my favorite things from pineapples to my napkin holder. We all know I love pineapples and really love napkins! I have always felt like sitting out cocktail napkins for guest is away tell them you are happy to have them in your home and you hope they enjoy their time with you.

I have everything on top that is needed to make specialty coffee drinks and I can put out hot muffins at any time! I feel like it says, "Let's make a yummy coffee and sit back and visit."

I did not want anyone to be able to see inside the glass doors so I cut black poster board to fit and placed in the door. When you enter the room I only want the focus to be on the cabinet and the top items. I love the way this idea came together and gives it a very clean look.

Doesn't this just make you ready for a hot cup of coffee and then to curl up in a chair in my family room! I love the size, the color, and the look. Its perfect and its everything I wanted.

Every draw is designed to have a special feature. This first draw holds hot chocolate cups on the left side. On the right-hand side you will find your hot apple cider. Best of all is in the middle you will find the tea box that can be removed and placed on the cabiet.

I have a hot tea kettle that I can bring out at any point and plug in for instant hot water. I am prepared for anything my guest would like.

The tea box is beautiful and can hold several different choices. I have found one like it here

I love having a mixture of coffee flavors so there is always something for everyone.

This drawer is on of my favorites drawers. I have my beautiful scallop dish that holds my sugar and silver spoons. Here is a link that I found for similar spoons just in case you can not find them in The Dollar Tree stores. Search Here

I love the idea of opening this drawer each morning and seeing how pretty this is set up.

I am really excited for the Holidays this year and all of the entertaining I plan to do. Making my family and friends feel right at home is one of my favorite things!

I hope you enjoyed a look at my new coffee station and now take a few minutes to enjoy the video listed below so you can see it for yourself!
