Shopping at the Mall of America

While on my recent trip I had to the chance to visit the Mall of America. As soon as I arrived to the city I checked into my hotel, jumped on the light rail, and knew the few stores I would have time to visit.

I was so proud of myself for navigating through this big city and even taking the light rail. Little scary being the only one for most of the ride. On the way back I actually sat next to someone from my city. Small world!

The very first stop was going to be Neiman Marcus to look for Tory Burch goodies. I could not believe my eyes with everything I saw. I wanted one of these, one of those, one of that!!! Some of my favorite photos.

To start I found the Tory Burch section...........

I purchased a new pair of Tory Burch shoes and I love them. They are so comfortable.

I also found some other items in Neiman Marcus that I loved.

By the way, the white pair above were $595.00....wow!

My next couple of stores were going to be Lululemon, Henri Bendel, Lush,

I love these bracelets and its so hard just to pick two!

Burberry store.

Michael Kors...........I could take a new watch in silver, white, mother of pearl....and on and on.

Then a quick run into Lululemon. I was excited to see this store in person.

The mall was huge and I could have spent hours and hours looking at everything. Just a few more photos inside....

Just an amazing location! I left a very happy girl with my new purchase!

Taking a Business Trip With Unplanned Snow

I had a great opportunity to take a business trip to Minneapolis this week and I was so excited that snow was in the plan. Look at these temperatures! I know for some of you this is your everyday but for me....it was so exciting!

Dallas and I had to go out and find some good layers. The one good thing is during this season in my city there were great sales on cooler weather items!! The secret is putting on layers so you can shed as you need.

My flight left very early and I always see the love in the little things my family does for me. How about getting up at 5:00 in the morning to bring me to the airport. He looks a little sleepy while I am doing my ticket check in, but he did not want to miss it for the world!

A little more awake as we were getting my luggage together and the sun was starting to come up!

Time to load up and over all my I was not nervous!

I was so excited to get a window seat and it made flying so much smoother for me. To be able to see the ground and my surroundings really helped!

I can tell the economy is getting better because not only did we receive a drink they also gave two packets of nuts and cookies! Last time I took this trip I only received a drink. Great sign that we are moving in the right direction!!!

I love this message that Trey sent me. He really thinks he saw me in the sky when he went back home and was walking the dog. He told me later he was waiving as big as he could so I would see him.....I just had to go along with him and tell him I saw him. I know ....I know....but it just made him light up with a smile!

Of course to be in the clouds is just such an amazing view and I love it!

Always pack your own snack just in case because when you get to the airport things can be so expensive. I love these little bars.

I cant wait to share more trip photos with you tomorrow!! I had such a great time and learned so much. Had to the chance to see my Leadership partners again and really enjoyed the week with them!

New Running Club and Running for Boston

Last night we joined our second running club and what a night to join. The group was running to raise money for Boston. It was great to be part of such a wonderful cause! The news media was there which I thought was great to keep this story alive and have people doing and giving!

Even for a run starting at 6:00pm it was a little warm, I might need to rethink my black outfits! As you can see the sun was so bright!

I am so proud of Eddie getting out there with me and running! It is so much fun making this a family event!

I loved seeing the American Flag being carried during the run. Just brings tears to my eyes!

Everyone getting ready to take off. Good motivation knowing you will get Buffalo wings when you return!

We did and I am so proud of my Trey! He rocks!!

These great ribbons were sold to help raise money!

Its great to do something love but to do it for the purpose of helping a great cause!!!
