These are one of my new favorites and I love how simple they are to make. This will be one of my Holiday go-to recipes for dessert. Let me show you how simple these are to make.
Here is what you will need to put these together.
1/4 cup packed light brown sugar
1 tsp apple pie spice
3 tbs melted butter
1/3 cup chopped pecans
1 Granny Smith apple cored and then sliced
1 can of Pillsbury crescent rolls
Preheat your oven to 350 degrees.
Line your baking sheet with parchment paper to fit the baking sheet.
Core your apple and cut into 1/2 inch slices.
In a small bowl mix your brown sugar and apple pie spice in a small bowl.
Melt butter and toss the apple slices in the butter.
Arrange crescent roll triangles on a baking sheet lined with parchment paper. Evenly distribute the brown sugar mixture onto each triangle. Sprinkle each triangle evenly with chopped pecans.
If you have anyone that can not have nuts or does not like them you can leave them off and skip this step.
Place an apple slice on the wide end of the triangle. Wrap the crescent roll dough around each apple. Brush each roll with the remaining butter. Sprinkle lightly with the remaining brown sugar mixture.
Bake for 10-12 minutes or until golden brown.
Be sure to let them cool because they will be very hot.
Be sure to let me know if you make these and how much you LOVE them!! They were a huge hit with my family and I love when they came back for seconds.
