Saturday Vlog and Haul

We had a fun packed day Saturday and here is a little peak into our day!

I found this cute candle from Target and they are actually on sale now. I will say that it does not fill your house with the scent but for sitting on my home office desk its pretty and smells great. The bowl is also something you can use after the candle is finished.

Then we stopped by Michaels and I just love the macaroon stationary they have right now. Take a look!

As you can see everything is so cute and its all in their $1.50 section so its perfect to pick up!

Here are just a couple of pictures of us during the day.

We had a great day! I hope you enjoyed the video and a few of the pictures from our day! Have a great week!

Easter Bunny Tails

Here is an idea you can make for your guest or just to put on your dessert bar! Take a look at these step by step directions on how tomato them.

These turned out so cute and they are so easy to make.

  • 1 8-ounce package cream cheese, softened
  • 4-5 cups powdered sugar
  • 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
  • 2 cups sweetened coconut
  • Corn syrup if needed

  1. Be sure cream cheese is softened.
  2. Use an electric mixer to beat cream cheese until fluffy.
  3. Add powdered sugar 1 cup at a time until mixture is a thick dough. If dough is able to hold shape in a 1-inch ball, then you're good to go! If it's too sticky, then add more powdered sugar.
  4. Roll balls in coconut. If you have trouble with it sticking, just press it in a bit or use a little bit of corn syrup.
  5. I hope you enjoy these!

Hope you enjoy this very yummy recipe!

Idea for Storage in Your Bathroom

I like to keep things in order. I have always had the mindset that everything has a place and in its place is where it should be. Take a look at this idea I shared with how to store items in your bathroom but still keep things looking neat and clean.

Hope you enjoyed this idea. Let me know what unique storage ideas you have because I would love to hear! You can post a photo on my Facebook at Mrs. Erica or Instgram at +Mrsblessed101

Easter Cheese Sticks Recipe

My family just loves this recipe and I know it will be a new addition you will want to have for your family every Easter! Click here to watch step by step directions on how to make!

This is one of my brunch items I make every year and my family loves it. Here is what you need.

3 oz cream cheese
6 oz cheddar cheese, finely shredded
¼ teaspoon paprika
⅛ teaspoon onion powder
⅛ teaspoon celery salt
⅛ teaspoon garlic powder
a few sprigs of fresh parsley

Using a fork combine all the ingredients together until somewhat combined, then using your hands (clean hands!) work the cheese mixture to combine more thoroughly until smooth.
Divide the cheese mixture into 5-6 sections (or however many "carrots" you want to create). Using your hands form carrots shapes.
Add details to cheese carrots with a knife.
Arrange cheese carrots on platter. Add sprigs of parsley to create carrot tops.
Cover and refrigerate until ready to serve.
Serve with crackers.

Such a yummy treat for Easter!

Easter Dining Room Brunch Tour

I love this time of year! Spring is in the air, the flowers are in bloom, and fresh colors are everywhere.  We went from temperatures in the 50's to 80's over night so I quickly decorated my dining room table since Easter is right around the corner.

Here is a quick video walk through of my Easter set up.

This is one of our favorite dishes I make for Easter morning brunch. I will actually have a "how to" post on it this week!

I love my bee set of juice pitchers. I picked these up at World Market about a year ago but keep an eye out because they always have cute items.

These are chocolate peeps that I will also be sharing in the near future!

Have a dinner menu board is always a great idea and fun to see.

The square plates are from Target several years ago but I know they keep these in stock. The lettuce bowls were from World Market a few years ago. I love the look of the.

Wishing you and your family a Happy Easter! I am looking forward to sharing many ideas with you!
