Chocolate Chip Peanut Butter Pretzel Cookie Recipe
These are very yummy Chocolate Chip Peanut Butter Pretzel Cookies that I found on Pinterest. They are a keeper in my recipe book. I tried to take the picture a couple of times and each time I did someone was grabbing one from the plate. That's a very good problem to have!
Ingredients: 1 cup all purpose flour
1 1/2 tsp baking soda
1 stick butter, softened at room temperature
1 cup creamy peanut butter
3/4 cup granulated sugar
1/2 cup packed brown sugar
2 large eggs
1 tsp vanilla extract
2/3 cup semi-sweet chocolate chips
20 pretzel stick pieces
sea salt for sprinkling
Directions: In a medium bowl, whisk together flour and baking soda, set aside
Using a mixer, mix peanut butter, butter and sugars on high until light and fluffy
Add the eggs one at time and then vanilla until combined
Reduce speed to low and stir in flour mixture until combined. Do not over mix because it will make the dough tough.
Stir in chocolate chips and pretzels
Chill dough for 2 hours or place in freezer for 1 hour
Pre-heat oven to 350 degrees
Spray pan very good with Pam
I use two spoons and place dough balls on the lined cookie sheet 1-2 inches apart
Lightly sprinkle with sea salt and bake for 14 minutes or until cookies are lightly brown on the edges
I was able to make 28 cookies. Hope you enjoy these!
